Please Clear This Log Pile
There is a pile of cut tree trunks along one of the parallel roads along Genting kelang which have been left there for about 2 weeks. Somehow, the contractors have yet to remove them. I am wodnering why. Should children play around the log pile and it collapses on them, I won't want to imagine what would happen. Is the MP's office checking this? Please do get the contractors to remove them,

Genting Kelang Trees - All Chopped Down
These are the sacualty of development. The brownish trunks of angsana trees piled on the shoulders of Jalan Genting Kelang awaiting to be collected. Will City Hall plant more trees? I hope for the sake of road users and nature lovers, they will spare more thought in trying to provide shade along this stretch. No point planting huge trees only to chop them few years down the line. Might as well have potted trees or bonsai. At least they can be moved without harming the trees.

Air Panas-Jalan Gurney Bypass Traffic Lights
There is now a traffic lights junction at the Jalan Gurney-Air Panas-Setapak Jaya bypass. It helps for a more orderly traffic. However, can someone please check to see if the traffic lights are all right, especially in the morning? The traffic queue from Air Panas is pretty long sometimes, and the kick-back can reach the Air Panas market.
Also, there is a traffic light pole with two sets of light pointing in the direction of Jalan Gurney bypass. Do you need a duplicate for a single way traffic?

Instant Trees
There you have it. Instant trees. This one is on the divider along the now widened Jalan Gombak. God knows what species is this or if it is planted for aesthetics or for shade. The base area is certainly too small for comfort and should the tree survive, dont you think the roots might surface and damage the road? Think about it.

Bridges Too Far
If you have been travelling via Jalan Gombak, I am sure you will see many bridges being built with the road expansion. There is one near Ong Tai Kim, one near Chong Hwa school and one near the Fourth Mile surau. While all are done with good intention, has City Hall thought of the old folks who might be using them to cross the now widened road? Can any climb without breaking their kneecaps?
