If you feel the hunger pangs at night and craving for some good pau, check out the pau man near the Air Panas Market. This chap, bespectacled and a bit on the plump side, sells very good home-made pau.
You will have to try it to appreciate the dumplings. He starts at six in the evening and goes on till all are sold or 11pm or so, whichever comes first. In his repertoire are pau of various sorts, as well as some good loh mai kai (glutinous rice with chicken) as well a siew mai (meat dumplings).
His mantou (plain flour dumplings) are also good to the bite. Check him out and tell him someone out there is helping him promote his stall and that he should keep the service good.
