Where Are The Trees?

Gone: The trees have been completely removed.
I was shocked when I drove by this row of shops that form the lower ground of the Pelangi Apartments along Jalan Genting Kelang. What used to be a lovely row of trees in front of the shops have been cleared out. The shopfront look bare and since many of them are restaurants, I wonder how they are dealing with the dust and din!

I agree. not only are the trees removed, those along Genting Kelang from BP to Air Panas junction have yet to be replanted. Like dat, how lah? And the slip road is getting choked with mamak putting their tables out in the evening and cars that have been left overnight. Can our MP Wee Choo Keong look into this ah? Tankiu

All of us felt sad and hot over the missing trees. No more greenery along Jalan Genting Kelang anymore. Sad, sad, sad!!!
If you go further up till Zoo Negara, you will see more damages to our lovely jungles which are raped by new housing developments. We are at least 4 degrees hotter than say 20 years ago when I first moved into Taman Melawati.
PLEASE PUT A STOP TO ALL THIS! Soon there will be no more rains over the catchment areas over the Kelang Gate Dam. CYS
