Arabic Cuisine in Gombak

Everyone in Gombak knows of the high concentration of Middle-Eastern community due to its proximity to the Universiti Islam Antarabangsa or Internation Islamic University. Gombak 5th Mile, behind the Ong Tai Kim Supermarket lies a row of shop houses in which you will find an exquisite Middle Eastern Restaurant serving Arabic cuisine. The name is Rawani Hadramout Restaurant.

Cosy and small, nice for family dining. There is a TV too for simple entertainment.

Hadramout Restaurant's Menu. Note the phone number - call if you are lost.

Arabic chapati - you dip it in the sauce below. No dull, I mean dhall.

Hummus dips

Islamic beer - no alcohol. From RM4..
The dishes are quite nice and range from RM4 (soups) to RM25 (whole roasted chicken with rice). They have appetisers for you to snack on such as hummus (something like chapati), main dishes like lamb mandy (RM17) and drinks ranging from RM2 for soft drinks to RM6 for mango with milk. Check them out if you are in the area.
