Gombak Road Widening - Updates

Tarring of the trunk road leading from Setapak to the upper reaches of Jalan Gombak has begun downstream from Gombak Fifth Mile (Pasaraya Ong Tai Kim). The road shoulders have been tarred sporadically, and this presents an even more dangerous situation for bikers. Loose gravel and uneven road shoulders are a fatal combination should the biker hits the dirt at high speed. Let's hope the contractors will complete the road fast before Chinese New Year!

Long time didn't take the road alrdy since I finish secondary school there.... good that at least that road wouldn't be so crammed during peak hours.

But the condition is so bad with gravel spilling all over the roads from Ong Tai Kim to Chonghua School. Can the MP of wangsa maju do something like visit the site and advise the city hall to buck up?

I've read somewhere (Infront of Diamond Square if am not mistaken) that the road widening project will be completed before May next year. So I don't think they can finish it before CNY. :p
