Rats, There Are Simply Too Many In Wangsa Maju!

The arrow points to the roadkill. Inset shows the rodent having lost its head before meeting its tragic end.

Rats, this one didn't make it. It must have been raiding the dustbins of the hawker centres near the Prima Setapak and Genting Court Condo when it met its maker. With its head blown off, it would appear that it could be done by the ratworld mafioso.
But I suspect it got its head crushed by passing car. Just look at the clues on the enlarged inset. Boy, Quincy ME would have been delighted to analyse how this rodent met its end.
Hope this picture did not spoil your meal - and if you have not taken twice, perhaps you might wanna consider eating at home.
Anyway, one wonders: with all the rats running around, are the hawker centres safe?
I mean, rat urine has been known to cause high fever and death if untreated or wrongly treated. Do we have any guarantee that at night, when the hawker centres close, these rodents do not party on the kitchen utensils as they much on leftovers?
And one wodners, too, how hugienic the hawkers here (or anywhere in Wangsa Maju for that matter!) are. Do they make it a point to clean their equipment thoroughly before preparing and serving their food?

Many of them today employ Banglas, Myanmars and Indons to serve, with some Vietnamese and China nationals thrown in for good measure. How many are healthy?
Scary, don't you think? Better cook at home and eat safe, and save huh?

Maybe our MP should be on the lookout for the hygiene part of his constituency. What say you?
