Jam At Air Panas-Gurney Road Short Cut

The traffic light at the Jalan AIr Panas-Gurney Road shortcut is causing daily jams when traffic is heavy. Sometimes the kickback from the junction extends till the Air Panas wet market. This is because along the stretch, there are heavily used smaller slip roads and even though the light is greed for traffic on the Air Panas side to move to Setapak Jaya or right turn into Gurney Road, they are blocked by inconsiderate drivers making their turns. If you are using this shortcut during mid-day and evenings, especially on school days, be patient. Unless someone retunes the traffic lights, it will be a long wait. Better to use another alternative.

Fish markets are abound with this fish to feed the frenzy local fish lovers have created. It is nothing more than a black tilapia. No worries. Anbd you should not pay a bomb over it.

Air Panas Hawker Centre

This hoarded up area lies in front of the Air Panas wet market. From what we saw, they comprised compartmentalised blocks which we assumed would be used to house a hawker centre beside the old one just a short distance away. Who will occupy it lies unknown. We will monitor and keep you posted.

More Such Signs Should Be Set Up

Whoever set up this banner to advise visitors to KLSC in Wangsa Maju, he is really smart. I think we should have reminders such as this one all around Wangsa Maju, especially the car parks. They are useful to keep alert. AFter all, how many times have we left our handphones or PDAs on the dashboard without noticing it until we are quite far away?
